Our Goals

The goal of Your Jewels My Treasure Day Care (YJMTDC) is to offer a loving, caring, and safe environment for your child while you work.

Your Jewels My Treasure Day Care plans to give children opportunities for:

  1.   Expression of thoughts and emotions with words and actions
  2.   Learning respect for themselves and others
  3.   Developing a positive, healthy image of themselves

Your Jewels My Treasure Day Care is a great environment before your child’s entrance into school. Your Jewels My Treasure Day Care is not just a service that sits and watches your child play idly all day, therefore, a curriculum has been selected to assist in the development of your child’s skills and/or concepts in: name recognition, opposites (large – small, up-down, etc.), colors, counting, alphabets and more.

Parent/Caregiver Communication
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE THIS A REALITY.

Communication is very important to YJMTDC. When a new family is accepted into the business, any questions or concerns that may arise should be openly shared. It is important that there is a similar day care philosophy between us also. YJMTDC welcomes questions, feedback, or discussions of any kind that will produce a positive outcome for the child. Sensitive issues will be discussed in private, not during regular day care hours, either by telephone or conference. Conferences are not scheduled as a routine part of your child’s care, however, should you wish to have a conference, you may request one at any time.

Daycare Rules

Parents and/or Guardian(s) please go over this section with your child so he/she will know what is expected while at YJMTDC. All children (age taken into consideration) are expected to know the rules YJMTDC. It is not intended for these rules to sound as though the children are not allowed to play and enjoy themselves. With the number of children at YJMTDC it is important to follow the rules to ensure safety.

Open Door Policy

Your Jewels My Treasure Day Care has an open door policy for you to visit at anytime. Please feel free to drop in and check on your child, however, keep in mind, a child adjusting to a new surrounding will want to leave with you if you pop in for a visit. Please keep in mind there may be times when it is not convenient for me to get to the telephone. (i.e., diaper changing, bottle feeding, playing outside, etc.) If the telephone goes unanswered please do not become alarmed, simply leave a message and I will call you as soon as possible. You may also communicate via e-mail. There may be times when something comes to mind while at work that you don’t want to forget. I will generally reply during naptime, my e-mail address is admin@yourjewelsmytreasures.com.

Termination Policy

Either party for any reason must give a three-week written notice. As noted in your signed contract, a parent may not give a three-week written notice prior to the providers’ vacation. (Exceptions to this rule listed under immediate termination.)
